Public invited to attend EMS Fleet Day on May 19

Events held in conjunction with National Paramedic Services Week

CALGARY – Alberta Health Services’ Emergency Medical Services (AHS EMS) invites media and public to participate in EMS Fleet Day as part of National Paramedic Services Week 2024, which runs May 19 to 25.

EMS Fleet Day will offer interactive ambulance and EMS vehicle tours as well as demonstrations of medical equipment. Public are invited to come out to these family-oriented events to learn more about EMS and the ways we provide care in the community.

Date: Sunday, May 19
Time: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.      
Location: Southcentre Mall - 100 Anderson Rd. S.E.

This event is being held in celebration of National Paramedic Services Week, which honours the individuals who provide this vital public service. The week also offers an opportunity to better understand the importance of EMS within our healthcare system and our communities. The week’s national theme in 2024 is Help Us Help You.
