Vaccination clinics will re-open in Calgary on January 4

CALGARY – The three influenza vaccination clinics in Calgary will close for the holidays at 7 p.m. this evening, Wednesday, December 23, 2009, and will reopen for six days beginning Monday, January 4, 2010.
Interest in the vaccine remains steady and AHS is committed to providing vaccine to all Albertans who want it.
Clinics are scheduled to open at noon on Monday, January 4th and will close again on Saturday, January 9th at 3:30 p.m.
Specific clinic hours at all three sites (see below) are as follows:
- Monday, January 4th to Thursday, January 7th – noon to 7 p.m.
- Friday, January 8th and Saturday, January 9th – 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Future possible clinic dates will be based on public demand during the six day reopening noted above. Details concerning vaccine availability at AHS Community Health Clinics will be announced and posted on the AHS website in the new year.
