Performance Results for AHS Executive Leadership
AHS Senior Leaders receive a base salary with a component that is considered “at risk” if they do not meet clearly defined performance objectives. The pay at risk portion of compensation is designed to ensure focus on meeting performance expectations and to provide incentive for achieving objectives outlined in the Five-Year Health Action Plan.
Pay at risk is withheld until clearly defined, performance-related targets are identified and achieved. AHS believes that part of compensation for senior leaders should be based on improving health system performance.
