Public invited to Tom Baker Cancer Centre open house

CALGARY – The public is invited to an open house at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre this Saturday as part of its 30th anniversary celebrations.

The public will be offered a rare opportunity to tour the cancer centre, which treats almost 20,000 patients annually.

Visitors will be able to browse 30 displays from departments within the cancer centre and its partner agencies, learn about the different cancer care available, tour treatment areas, and watch video presentations about the cancer centre and cancer care in Alberta.

Staff will be on hand to discuss the facility’s developments and breakthroughs.

  • TIME: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
