Contaminated water advisory lifted for Milk River at Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park

LETHBRIDGE – Alberta Health Services (AHS) has lifted the contamination advisory for Milk River at Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park.
Water testing has confirmed that bacterial levels are now below maximum acceptable guidelines, meaning water is again safe for swimming and wading.
Alberta Health Services will continue to sample this water as part of routine monitoring practices.
