GRH 11th Annual Spotlight on Research Breakfast “The De Hogeweyk Dementia Care Revolution”

Time: 7:00 am – 9:00 am.
This year’s featured speaker is Mr. Eloy van Hal, Consultant and Facility Manager of De Hogeweyk Dementia Village, The Netherlands. Join us as we learn about best practices in dementia care from our international colleague. The event will be of interest to health care professionals, researchers, individuals and groups who are involved in seniors care through advocacy work with public agencies, elected officials, industry professionals, academics, health and community service administrators, government representatives, students and seniors. Stroke Program Edmonton Zone

Strike Out Stroke

FREE, 2.5 hour workshop for the general public and people at risk for stroke. Stroke is 80% preventable with the recognition and management of risk factors. Learn the signs of stroke and steps you can take to prevent a stroke. Call 780-401-BOOK (2665) to register.

Living With Stroke (6 consecutive weeks - Spring & Fall only)

FREE. Learn how to cope with changes after your stroke, share your experiences and learn from others. Learn how to problem-solve, set weekly goals and work towards achieving them. Call 780-401-BOOK (2665) to register.
