Surgical Suite
Surgical Services provides patient care during the pre-operative phase, during the surgical procedure and in the recovery room prior to being returned to the nursing unit
Access is through a formal process, where physicians need to complete a booking form & organize it with the OR through their clerical staff at their clinics for our local physicians
-for our visiting surgeons the surgical clinic clerk books surgery at the time of the consultation with the surgeon.

The OR is closed Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Statutory holidays. Staff are on call for emergency surgery outside regular hours.
