Coronary Care Unit (CCU)
Provides care for patients who have suffered a Cardiac event. Care is provided by a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, dieticians, physicians, physiotherapists, respiratory therapists, social workers and pastoral care.
In addition to receiving treatment for their heart condition, inpatients also receive teaching and support to reduce their risk factors and promote their return to a productive lifestyle.
