Community Wellness Program - Mental Health
This program is offered at all Rural South Mental Health Centres and provides psychiatric, practical and supportive counselling services to individuals diagnosed with severe, chronic and persistent mental health difficulties in order to enable them to live independently and interdependently in the community.
Service goals include:
- reduction of symptoms;
- improved functioning in social roles;
- decreased hospitalization;
- maintainance of wellness.
