Preparing for Chemotherapy

Offers classes to help patients and family members prepare for chemotherapy treatments and manage the possible side effects.

The class is taught by a chemotherapy treatment nurse who explains how the treatments work, what to expect during the treatment, and how each possible side effect can usually be managed.

The class is about one and a half hours long.

Wheelchair accessible

Wheelchair accessible washrooms.  Handicapped parking stalls.  Ramps are available to access the hospital and there is designated parking around the parameter for appropriately designated handicapped vehicles.

Bus stops at 114 Street NW, and an LRT station is located NE of the Kaye Edmonton Clinic along 114 Street NW. Phone 780-496-1611 for service schedule.

No sessions on statutory holidays.
