Preparing for Chemotherapy
The class is taught by a chemotherapy treatment nurse who explains how the treatments work, what to expect during the treatment experience, and how each possible side effect can usually be managed well.
The nurse uses a Power Point presentation to support the important instruction and offers time for discussion.
The class is about 1 ½ hours in length.

Washrooms are wheelchair accessible. Handicapped parking stalls. Ramps are available to access the hospital and there is designated parking around the parameter for appropriately designated handicapped vehicles.
