Adult Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Assessment Clinic

The Adult FASD Clinic assesses adults who show symptoms possibly linked to alcohol exposure before birth.

The clinic checks adults for signs that could be from alcohol exposure before birth. This can take more than three months and includes:

  • talking with psychologists, speech therapists, and doctors
  • possibly talking with family or caregivers
  • looking at birth, health, and school records, plus other important records. Afterward, clients get their results, showing what they're good at and where they need help. They also get a plan to help them find services and support
