Psychiatric consultation for clients over 70 years of age, residing in the community and not currently under care of a psychiatrist may be referred to through Access Mental Health.Accessing this service has to specify request for psychiatric consultation when seeking one or more of the following: diagnositc clarification medication review recommendaiton for treatment / mangement of psychiatric symptoms Referral may be considerd for pesons age 65-69 if requiring psychiatric consultation and also are challenged with age related (geriatric) frailty or diseases (ie: dementia, advanced parkinsons, advanced cardio vascular disease)
