Children's Hospice and Palliative Care Service (CHaPS) - Loss of a Child Grief Support Program

Provides grief support, counselling and groups for parents who have experienced the loss of a child 0 - 17 years of age in the Calgary and surrounding area.

Provides grief support, counselling and groups for parents who have experienced the loss of a child 0 - 17 years of age in the Calgary and surrounding area. This service provides:

  • individual and or couple counselling specific to loss of a child
  • monthly topic driven Drop in Grief Group for parents
  • monthly Loss by Suicide Group for parents
  • 6 week Closed Grief Group for parents
  • annual Celebration of Life Memorial Service

Clients have experienced the loss of a young child ages 0 - 17 years.
