High Risk Obstetrics, High Risk Pregnancy Clinic, Perinatology, Perinatal Clinic
Provides inpatient and outpatient services including:
genetics counsellors, licensed practical nurses (LPNs), nurse practitioners (NPs), physicians (MDs), registered nurses (RNs), social workers, sonographers
For residents from northern or central Alberta who have high-risk pregnancy concerns and require pre-pregnancy counselling or prenatal screening and diagnosis.
Women from outside of northern or central Alberta may be seen if there is a specific referral request from a doctor.
A doctor referral is needed. Referral should include prenatal records, blood work, ultrasound reports, maternal blood screen results, and any other relevant information.
