AHS apps for iPhone and Android
One App, Many Features
AHS is working to ensure that Albertans have innovative ways to access information about healthcare services by providing applications for mobile devices. Having a single AHS app on the two most-used mobile platforms, iOS and Android, means Albertans will be able to find official AHS content and functionality without sorting through the hundreds of thousands of available apps.
Health Care Locator, Emergency Department Wait Times & Influenza Immunization
Use your phone to find hospitals, facilities, programs & services in your area. Emergency wait times are available for the Calgary and Edmonton areas. More cities will be added as this service rolls out across the province. The app also lets you find influenza immunization clinics near you.
Planned Features – More to Come
We are working on being able to provide more apps including: Mobile version of the AHS website—all of our current content optimized for mobile devices:
- Restaurant inspections
- Health advisories
- Media advisories
- Mini-apps like ovulation calendar, calorie counter, etc.
