Health Link is available 24/7 by dialing 811 for quick and easy advice from a registered nurse. They can also provide updates on what services are available in Fort McMurray.

There are no longer any advisories or concerns for residents looking to return to the city.

Northern Lights Regional Health Centre (7 Hospital Street):

The Northern Lights Regional Health Centre has returned to providing full comprehensive health care services (including all Allied Health services) with all beds open on every unit.

Dialysis services, and the Cancer Clinic, are fully operational.

Fort McMurray Medical Clinic – Keyano Syncrude Sports & Wellness Centre (9908 Penhorwood Street) (Primary Care):

The Fort McMurray Medical Clinic (FMMC), located in mobile office trailers at the Keyano Syncrude Sports & Wellness Centre (9908 Penhorwood Street) closed permanently on June 28, 2016.

Addiction and Mental Health:

Experiencing a disaster such as the Fort McMurray fires can be incredibly stressful and overwhelming. If you need to talk, call the Mental Health Help Line at 1-877-303-2642 or Health Link at 811.

Home Care:

Home care staff have returned to their office space at the Thickwood Medical Centre (#203 108 Wolverine Drive).

We encourage home care clients to notify staff of their return plans so that services can be arranged. Please call (780) 791-6250.

The Adult Day Program has resumed full service at the Westwood Family YMCA (221 Tundra Drive). For more information please call (780) 791-6250.
