Upgrades temporarily affect outpatient lab hours at QEII

October 6, 2017

GRANDE PRAIRIE – Alberta Health Services (AHS) is reminding area residents the Queen Elizabeth II (QEII) Regional Hospital’s outpatient laboratory will be closed Saturday, Oct. 7, due to electrical upgrades at the hospital.

Outpatient laboratory services will be offered Sunday, Oct. 8, out of the Junction Point laboratory (9805 97 St.), from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Regular QEII outpatient laboratory weekday hours and location — Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the QEII Regional Hospital — will remain in effect.

The public cafeteria at the hospital will be closed Oct. 7 and 8.

Electrical upgrades are an important part of facility maintenance and keep the hospital running well. AHS apologizes for the inconvenience and appreciates your understanding.
