Healthy Beginnings - Elizabeth Settlement Community Health Services
Nurses contact all families within 24 hours of discharge from hospital. Home visit and/or telephone assessments of the mother and infant are offered to all families. Blood tests are completed for specific metabolic conditions and results are monitored.
Information and support is available to assist families with:
- feeding
- infant care
- safety
- adjustment to the demands of parenting.
