Urgent Care Services - Cochrane Community Health Centre
Urgent Care Services are for people who have unexpected but non-life-threatening health concerns that usually need to be treated on the same day. Some examples include broken bones, sprains, cuts, asthma, dehydration, pain, and infections.
All patients are seen according to how urgent their health concern is. The sickest patients are always seen first.
The Urgent Care team is made up of nurses, nurse practitioners, and doctors. A laboratory and x-ray department are also on site. People who have been referred to Urgent Care by their family doctor can also use the laboratory and x-ray services.
