Aboriginal Health Program has four priority action areas:

- Monitoring the Health of Aboriginal Albertans
Aboriginal Health Program Staff help Aboriginal patients and families throughout their hospital stay and connect them to the health services and programs in their home communities. The Aboriginal Health Program Staff works within communities to create partnerships in areas of public health, prevention, promotion and chronic disease management. Available at the following locations: Grande Prairie, Valleyview, McLennan, Peace River, Grande Cache, Edson, Hinton, High Prairie, Lac La Biche, Wabasca, Buffalo Lake Settlement, Elizabeth Settlement, Kikino Settlement, Fishing Lake Settlement, Bonnyville and Gift Lake Settlement.
