QuitCore
QuitCore is a free group support program that provides Albertans the tools and skills they need to quit using tobacco. Some of the quitting support techniques include:
- Self-hypnosis
- Behaviour modification
- Relaxation
The program also provides:
- Strategies to help with physical and mental recovery
- Visits from past participants
- A support persons' program
Led by trained professionals, the program consists of six 90-minute sessions over a period of up to nine weeks and incorporates common best practices to help tobacco users quit.
Available to
All participants must be 18 years old or older, and must be trying to quit using tobacco.
