Pre Assessment Clinic
The Pre Assessment Clinic provides teaching for patients in preparation for their surgery. Registered Nurses meet with patients to discuss their proposed surgery, including pre and post surgical care and discharge teaching. Includes videos, pamphlets, and patient teaching brochures.

Ages: 18 Years and Over
Referral needed
Patients must be referred by their surgeon. The surgeon completes a booking card that includes the type of surgery the patient is booked for, any orders for pre-operatives tests etc. This booking card is sent to PAC. Patients are asked to bring any pre-existing documentation, i.e. test results from their family doctor.
