I CAN Centre

Helps clients find effective tools and strategies, and helps clients, their families, and community members learn how to use the tools in their daily lives. These may range from simple low-tech tools such as picture boards to high-tech computerized systems.
Services include Assessment, Consultation, Training, and Follow-up for:
• Augmentative Communication
• Adapted Computer Access
• Environmental Controls
• Specialized Power Mobility
This allows people to perform tasks that they wouldn't normally be able to accomplish.
Located in Edmonton, this service is available to residents of Alberta who reside in central and northern Alberta, from Red Deer north. Service may be provided in person, or via telehealth for those who live outside the Edmonton area.
Available to residents of Alberta that reside North of Red Deer. Telehealth consultation is available. A support team will be available to assist with the assessment, training and implementation of the technology. School-age children must access school services first.
Submission of Adult Request for Service or Child Request for Service, and relevant secondary forms.
