Nutrition Counselling - Prenatal Outpatients

A registered dietitian provides nutrition counselling to women who are trying to become pregnant, and to women with a high risk pregnancy.

Education is provided to ensure appropriate weight gain during pregnancy and nutrient intake before and after pregnancy.

Examples of high risk pregnancy include, among others, women with a low pre-pregnancy weight, poor weight gain during pregnancy, adolescent pregnancy, or a multiple gestation (e.g. twins, triplets).

Available to

High risk pregnant women and women who are trying to become pregnant.
