Mental Health and Addictions Services

Mental health and addictions professionals provide counseling, treatment, information and referral to people of all ages with mental health, psychosocial, and/or substance misuse/gambling concerns.
This may include:
- Counseling or psychotherapy (usually under six months) for mental health concerns with access to psychiatric consultation as needed.
- Counseling or treatment for substance misuse (including community based detoxification) and gambling concerns
- Mental Health & Addictions Shared Care Practice ¿ mental health and addictions therapists provide consultation/brief interventions to family physicians in Northeast Edmonton who continue to manage the patient¿s mental health care. (Access to psychiatric consultation as required).

For all ages with mental health, psychosocial, and/or susstance misuse/gambling concerns.
