In her weekly all-staff video message to staff and physicians, AHS President and CEO Dr. Verna Yiu encourages staff to find time to relax during the Victoria Day long weekend. She also thanks our nurses for their commitment to patients as National Nursing Week winds down, and introduces a new email address where staff and physicians can share COVID-19 innovations that could continue to help the organization after the pandemic is over. Dr. Yiu's guest is Dr. Laura McDougall, Senior Medical Officer of Health, who talks about her background, her perspectives on AHS' response to the pandemic, and her pet bird.
