Continuing Care

- Type A Site Profile

In Alberta, the quality of care our residents receive is always assessed, reviewed and adjusted to ensure we deliver the best, safest and most appropriate care in collaboration with our residents and families.

Providing care based on the individual's needs contributes to improved physical, mental and social health and well-being.

A standardized assessment tool, called the Resident Assessment Instrument (interRAI), is completed to help identify areas where care is appropriate, and opportunities for enhancement of our residents’ care and their quality of life.

Based on the results from the standardized assessment tool, these measures, as well as others such as pressure ulcers and physical functioning, are compared nationally.
