Must be an inpatient under the care of a physician.

This service is booked through an online portal which is accessible by AHS and contracted AHS (Long Term Care) staff who are arranging transportation for patients. The general public cannot access this service on their own. It is completed through their health care provider and they must be an inpatient with a sending and receiving doctor.

If EMS is requested to transport to or from appointments that are not at approved facilities, a bill is sent to the patient. No fees are charged for inpatients who are moved between approved facilities.
