Treatment - Outpatient / Outreach Counselling

 Location: Stettler and Area

Provides specialized treatment services to survivors of recent or historical sexual violence and other forms of abuse.

Service offers:

  • therapeutic services to children and adults addressing childhood trauma, as well as physical, sexual and emotional abuse

Goals of treatment include:

  • self-management of the symptoms of abuse
  • improved daily living
  • healthier coping skills
  • better able to prevent further abuse
  • long-term planning to reduce the impact of abuse and prevent or reduce the incidence of child abuse and family violence

This service is provided by Alberta Health Services and Alberta Health Services contracted service providers.
