Stroke Prevention Clinic
The clinic is focused on early identification and prevention of strokes in clients who are at risk for a stroke or have had a stroke before.Provides early assessment and intervention for patients with transient ischemic attack (TIA) and minor stroke focusing on:
- lifestyle changes
- treating vascular risk factors
- diagnostic tests
- education
- pharmacotherapy
- accelerated referrals to Neurosurgeon where appropriate
