Multiple Sclerosis Clinic

Provides support and assists people with multiple sclerosis (MS) and their families in dealing with MS and ensuring they receive the care they need.

Services include:

  • Investigation and diagnosis
  • assessments, treatments, and follow-up
  • involving clients, families, and caregivers in making the care plan
  • assisting clients in having the confidence, skills, and ability to manage MS
  • education for clients, families, and other healthcare providers
  • assisting clients in seeing healthcare providers specialized in managing MS
  • client and family support

Access
Service Providers May Include
dietitians, neurologists, occupational therapists (OTs), registered nurses (RNs), social workers
Referral Needed

Professional referral is required. Referral faxed to clinic and include medical history and reason for referral.

Service Access

Healthcare providers should consult the Alberta Referral Directory for service referral information.

Clients should have a family doctor who is able and willing to work with the clinic in the care and management of the client.
