Assess and provide treatment options to people who are referred to see a neurosurgeon, for conditions affecting vessels in the brain or spine.Services are offered to people who have been referred, by their doctor, to see a neurosurgeon. The neurosurgery team would then assess and decide if surgery is needed, for neurovascular disorders, including:
- brain aneurysms
- arteriovenous malformations (AVMs)
- carotid artery disease
- cavernoma
- carotid cavernous fistula
- dural arteriovenous fistula
- intracranial atherosclerotic disease
Follow up after surgery is also provided.
