Research and Innovation

The path to meaningful rehabilitation, whether a patient is recovering from a disabling injury or coping with chronic complex conditions, requires dedication and determination (courage and grit) from the patients, their families and their clinicians and caregivers.

It also increasingly requires access to technologies and processes that can enhance care, improve outcomes and increased independence for our patients and their families. As such, the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital has adopted the following research thrusts:

  • Understanding Child Developmental Health
  • Improving Function for People with Chronic Conditions
  • Advancing Function Through Assistive Technology
  • Anticipating the Needs of an Aging Population
