The third annual Renal Fitness Challenge goes back to its roots with a Tour of Alberta, crossing our great province and visiting many of the towns and cities where Alberta dialysis patients live. Approximately 180 renal patients will take part in a virtual tour of their home province, learning the history of places they know and love during a 2670-kilometre journey. Beginning in Bragg Creek, the patients will visit several corners of the province, including mountain parks, wide open prairies, and the capital city in Edmonton. They'll see dinosaurs, natural gas fields, and grain silos before finishing in Calgary, the beautiful city where many of the patients reside.
