Telehealth is the delivery of health related services and information at a distance using videoconference technology through one of the largest Telehealth networks in North America.

Using a multitude of technology solutions for clinical, education, and administrative services, AHS Telehealth plays a significant role in providing a patient-focused, quality health service that is accessible and sustainable for all Albertans.

How to schedule a Telehealth session

iScheduler is AHS’ new Telehealth scheduling application, replacing the old videoconference scheduling application (VCS).

All Telehealth requesters will need to create an online account in iScheduler. Once you set up your account, you can log in to the system and submit a request for a Telehealth session. See the resources in the right hand column to learn how to create your account and schedule a telehealth session.

Virtual Health Tools During COVID-19

AHS Virtual Health is offering Zoom video conferencing to support virtual care encounters between AHS clinicians and their patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. This easy-to-use platform is accessible on most computers and mobile devices. The addition of Zoom to AHS Virtual Health’s current tools extends access to patient homes.
