As per the newly ratified collective agreement with Health Sciences Association of Alberta (HSAA), former employees in the HSAA bargaining unit whose employment was terminated prior to the signing of the collective agreement are eligible to receive retroactively any increase(s) they would have received but for the termination of their employment. Terminated HSAA employees must make a written application for retroactive payment to AHS by October 23, 2022, which is 90 calendar days from the ratification of the new collective agreement.
Employees who were terminated after January 1, 2021 and prior to August 19, 2022 are eligible to apply for one or more retroactive payments.
When submitting your request either via Canada Post or email, please indicate your Employee Name, Employee ePeople ID number, Termination Date, and Mailing Address if changed since date of termination. Payment will be provided approximately three weeks after the end of the 90 calendar day period.
