Cross-Canada Renal Fitness Challenge

The first Renal Fitness Challenge is a tremendous undertaking, as four teams from the Southern Alberta Renal Program work to cross the entire length of Canada.

Starting in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, the patients will follow the essence of the Terry Fox route across all ten provinces, ending in Victoria, British Columbia. This amazing route will pass sea coasts, islands, forests, river valleys, lakes, prairies, mountains, and more across an incredible 9810 kilometres.

Approximately 150 renal patients will take part in this Cross-Canada challenge, divided into four official teams.
