Quality of life and an enhanced meal experience for our residents are the focus of Closer to Home. We are taking time to speak with residents and their families about the food we serve, what’s most important to them, and what dishes and desserts, and specialties, we could add to themenus.

Based on this feedback, we take action on a site-by-site basis to address resident needs. For example, in addition to regularly scheduled barbecues, some favourite foods are now offered in Claresholm and St. Paul, including Taber corn, baked potatoes, locally-grown fresh vegetables, liver and onions, mashed turnips, perogies and ham.

How are we doing?

Every six months, we touch base with our patients and residents to understand what’s working and what needs improvement through our patient food service satisfaction surveys. View the latest survey results.
