Dr. Deena Hinshaw

Dr. Hinshaw has been a Medical Officer of Health (MOH) in the Central Zone of Alberta Health Services (AHS) since January of 2010. Since February of 2014, she has also been the MOH lead for Public Health Surveillance and Infrastructure for AHS provincially. She lives in Camrose with her husband and two young children. Andrea Thain Liptak is the Executive Director in the Central Zone for Public Health, Primary Care, Chronic Disease Management, Children’s Rehab Services, and Allied Health. While these areas cover a broad range of community and facility-based services, working toward integrated, seamless, interdisciplinary team-based care is a focus for her whole portfolio. Andrea lives in Red Deer (although her work takes her all over Central Zone). She is married, has two active, young boys, and enjoys travelling, sports, good food, and good movies.... Read more
