Structure provides additional parking stalls, options for public and staff alike

RED DEER – The new five-storey parkade at Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre (RDRHC) is now open to vehicle traffic, providing a much needed addition at the facility.

The parkade houses 1,100 stalls for both public and staff, with the first two levels designated for public parking. Hospital staff will utilize levels three, four and five of the parkade, which will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Drivers accessing the parkade will enter and exit from the west side of the building. New payment machines have been installed in the parkade and inside RDRHC as well for drivers to pay for parking. Weekly and monthly parking passes can be purchased from the new Parking Services office, located inside the parkade on the main level.

Parking rates have not increased as a result of the parkade project. Public parking rates within the parkade remain the same as all other public surface lots at the hospital.
