Connect with health educators at the Central Alberta Children’s Festival

RED DEER – Local and area residents have an opportunity to learn more about health and wellness when Alberta Health Services (AHS) visits the Central Alberta Children’s Festival, June 3 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and June 4 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Rotary Recreation Park in Red Deer.

AHS staff will be providing information and resources, and attendees will have an opportunity to:

  • Speak with local health professionals from Oral Health, Addictions and Mental Health, as well as Nutrition and Food Services
  • Take part in fun interactive learning demonstrations
  • Learn about dental hygiene, including proper brushing, flossing, and tooth decay
  • Learn about how to improve your mental health and wellbeing
  • Learn about healthy eating and how to use Canada’s Food Guide

AHS wants to hear about your health care experiences and find out what is important to you. We want to hear about how you are keeping healthy and connect you to information and experts who will help you be even healthier.
