Contaminated water advisory lifted for Campground Beach at Calling Lake Provincial Park

ATHABASCA – Effective immediately, Alberta Health Services (AHS) has lifted the contaminated water advisory that was issued for the water of the campground beach at Calling Lake Provincial Park on July 29, 2016.

Water testing has confirmed that bacterial levels are now below maximum acceptable guidelines, meaning the water at the campground beach at Calling Lake Provincial Park is again safe for swimming and wading.

AHS will continue to sample this water as part of routine monitoring practices.
