Public invited to South Calgary Wellness Fair Saturday

CALGARY – Alberta Health Services (AHS) invites you to attend the South Calgary Wellness Fair on Saturday, Oct. 1, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at South Fish Creek Complex, 333 Shawville Blvd. S.E.

This free, family-friendly event will give people of all ages the opportunity to learn more about health and social services available in their community.

Visitors can participate in a health clinic for your child’s teddy bear; seniors activities; community resource fair; police and EMS vehicle tours; and more.

Health, recreation and community service professionals will be on hand to answer questions and provide information to the public.

AHS is presenting the event in partnership with the City of Calgary, YMCA, Calgary Catholic School District, Calgary Public Library, Calgary Catholic Immigration Society, Aspen Family and Community Services, the Calgary Deep South Early Childhood Coalition and Immigrant Services Calgary.

Alberta Health Services is the provincial health authority responsible for planning and delivering health supports and services for more than four million adults and children living in Alberta. Its mission is to provide a patient-focused, quality health system that is accessible and sustainable for all Albertans.
