Public invited to share views about local healthcare delivery

Feedback welcome at meeting of Greater Edmonton Health Advisory Council

LLOYDMINSTER– Local and area residents are invited to attend a meeting of the Yellowhead East Health Advisory Council (HAC) on June 20th.

This is an opportunity for the public to meet council members, provide feedback on health services, share views about local healthcare delivery and propose ideas for improvements.

There is an opportunity during the meeting for public feedback that is shared with local Alberta Health Services (AHS) leaders in attendance.

The meeting runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Lloydminster Hospital, 3820 43 Ave, Lloydminster SK.

HACs play an important role in supporting the strategic direction of AHS by engaging members of their communities throughout Alberta in a respectful, transparent and accountable manner. Public participation is essential to improving the quality and accountability of health services. Working in partnership with AHS is an important way to ensure that services are more responsive to the needs of those who use them.
