Public invited to share views about local healthcare delivery

Feedback welcome at meeting of Yellowhead East Health Advisory Council

CONSORT – Area residents are invited to share their thoughts on local healthcare delivery and services at an upcoming meeting of the David Thompson Health Advisory Council (HAC).

The meeting will be held Thursday, Sept. 12, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Education Room of the Consort Hospital and Care Centre, 5402 52 Ave.

Alberta Health Services (AHS) Central Zone leadership will provide an update on health services within the zone, and a presentation will be made about mental health access.

This is your opportunity to:

• Bring your community’s voice forward to provide input on local and regional healthcare.
• Provide feedback to AHS regarding healthcare services.
• Learn about the Yellowhead East HAC.

The public is welcome to attend the entire meeting; an opportunity to engage with the council is set for approximately 6 p.m.
