Blue-green algae advisories lifted for 21 North Zone bodies of water

GRANDE PRAIRIE– Recent autumn weather has cooled water temperatures in lakes around Alberta to such an extent that blue-green algae is no longer a concern, including in the waters of 21 North Zone lakes/reservoirs, which had previously been placed under blue-green algae advisory.

As such, effective immediately, Alberta Health Services has lifted the blue-green algae advisories for:
