Description: This free event will help Albertans and their families learn about dementia and how Alberta Health Services and the Alzheimer Society can support them. Local experts will share how and where you can get support for your health. And an Albertan living with the disease, and a dementia-care advocate, will share what it's like to live with dementia.

You will also learn:

  • The types of dementia and their warning signs
  • Why there’s hope after diagnosis
  • How you can support loved ones
  • How AHS’ Primary Care Network and Dementia Link advice line can help
  • How the Alzheimer Society’s First Link program and support groups can help.

Apple Magazine, Alberta Health Services and the Alzheimer Society of Alberta & NWT present this free talk. We invite the community to join us. Apple Talks are free events that bring the magazine’s stories to life, and connect Albertans to information and expertise to help them and their family live healthier, happier lives.
