April 18, 2022

SWAN HILLS — The dedicated team at the Swan Hills Healthcare Centre is pleased to welcome a new physician. Dr. Ashraff Khan is a family medicine physician who began practicing in the community on March 15.

This brings the number of family medicine physicians in Swan Hills to two, with both offering clinical and hospital services at the Swan Hills Healthcare Centre. Dr. Khan is currently accepting new patients, who can make an appointment by calling the Swan Hills Healthcare Centre at (780) 333-7070.

“This is exciting news for Swan Hills,” says Glenn van Dijken, MLA for Athabasca-Barrhead-Westlock. “Rural family medicine physicians are vital to their communities and allow the families there to stay and thrive. Dr. Khan will be a great addition to the Swan Hills Healthcare Centre and very much appreciated by the people who receive care there.”
