Your child can continue to go to school if they are well, unless you are notified by AHS that they have been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 or are experiencing COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms.
Your child’s school will communicate with you if there is a confirmed case of COVID-19 at the school. AHS will work closely with the school to identify close contacts, and to notify parents of children identified as close contacts.
It’s important to monitor for your child for symptoms of COVID-19 and keep them home from school if they are not feeling well.
Call Health Link at 811 if you have questions about your child’s health.
Talk to your child’s teacher or school administrator if you have questions about specific health measures in your school, or the school re-entry plan.
