Immunization Policy for AHS Staff, Physicians & Volunteers

COVID-19

AHS has released its new mandatory immunization policy, which requires all employees, medical and midwifery staff, students, volunteers and contracted healthcare providers to be fully immunized for COVID-19 by November 30, 2021.

The purpose of the policy is to protect the health and safety of healthcare workers, patients and the public and to preserve workforce capacity to support the healthcare system. It’s important to have everyone immunized at AHS to protect our vital frontline healthcare teams, who continue to provide incredible care to anyone who needs it and help maintain a safe environment for all Albertans.
